Let me tell you something irresistible...

Elliott woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.  So finally, I gave him a timeout for fussing - he didn't want chocolate milk, he wanted juice.  When he got out of his timeout, he started crying again and saying he wanted juice, then he says "No, wait.  Just a second, Dad."

He goes around the corner, and calls me to come to him.  "What do you want?" I ask.

"I want to tell you something irresistible.  Can I please have some juice?"

Rockamolde

Elliott: "I don't like rockamoldey."

Everyone else: It's good as a chip dip. Made from avocados. 

Hair Storage Unit

I mentioned in an earlier post that Elliott had a new functional use for his hair.  So today, my wife had to cut gum out of his hair.  He had been chewing it (unbeknownst to us of course) for a couple of hours, and told Rachel he was putting it in his "storage bin" to keep it warm.  He cried when he realized it wouldn't come out and hurt to pull on it.

Elliott teaches his older brothers

Jeremy and Ben have learned from Elliott. They decided not to get dressed today, so we have 3 boys in their undies.

If Elliott were...

…a food, he would be sweet and so spicy it would burn your mouth so bad your taste ids would throb. But it would taste so good that after a couple if days you would order another plateful.

…a Native American, his name would translate to Swirling Wind.

…a new species, he would be classified as Homo trumpernickus (etymology: Yiddish).

Boo Boo Sauce

Rachel made boo boo sauce today. You know, we use it to make boo boo chicken or boo boo ribs. I asked Elliott what it was because he asked me what was in the pot, and he told me.

Watermelon Meatballs

Elliott wanted these, for which we use the melon baller to make them. Mmmmm.
